Handmade Tabrets - Adornments for Worship and Dance
"Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry." (Jeremiah 31:4)
Tabrets were used in Biblical times as adornments for dancers. They were worn on a belt at the hip or carried and waved in the dance. Today many churches are striving for extravagant worship, with freedom of expression in movement and dancing. These lovely "instruments" are a way of expressing our joy and reverence for the Lord.
Each tabret is an original, handcrafted design. No two tabrets will be exactly alike, even if they have the same theme. Photographs can't do justice to these beautiful designs. They are pretty enough to hang on your wall!
